Introduced 1928. Fowler short-wheelbase dock tanks. Some used as Departmental locos by British Railways.

Number Series 47160-47169.

Built as numbers 11270-11279 and renumbered 7100-7109, finally renumbered to 7160-7169 in 1939

Built at London Midland & Scottish Railway Derby Works.

The first withdrawal was 47169 in September 1959 and the last two loco in the class, 47164 and 47165 were withdrawn in September 1964. None are preserved.
