Introduced 1902. Churchward GWR Saint design developed from No. 2900, which was originally introduced as No. 100 in 1902. Earlier locos subsequently fitted with new boilers & superheaters - remainder built as such. The first withdrawal 2924, was made in August 1924 and the last loco, 2920 Saint David, was withdrawn in October 1953. None are preserved.

Number Series 2900-2955, 2971-2990, 2998.

2972-2990 Introduced 1905. Built as 4-4-2 and subsequently rebuilt.

Built at Great Western Railway Swindon Works.
